People are right to be outraged that immigrant detention center guards are taking toothbrushes away from children. Granted, we don't want them to get accustomed to the conditions of these NICE exchange centers, which are no doubt way more luxurious than the sh*thole countries they fled from, but how in the heck do we expect them to properly clean the grout in their and their guards' bathroom facilities without proper tools? It's not fair to these little workers, and it's not fair to the camp guards who have to use those bathrooms. At the very least, give them their brushes during their twelve-hour shifts, and then put them away for the night. Remember, we need to keep making Nice with Ice.
