Donald Trump wants to eliminate wind power because it is "ruining coastlines and is killing too many birds", and solar because it is an "unproven technology." A better reason for getting rid of these suspect energy sources is that it's just plain hard to make a profit from free wind and free sun. The Senator, however, does think we need energy diversity.
