Giving Birth to a New World Order

The tired old North Atlantic Treaty Organization, like an aging WWII battleship, is ready for the mothballs, and President Trump knows this. That is why he is well on his way to forming a new alliance, with entirely new players—statesmen who share his strongman, get-things-done-now-and-damn-the-consequences approach to ruling. He’s off to a good start.

President Trump c
learly respects and admires Russian president Vladimir Putin, and has done much to strengthen that relationship, primarily by single-handedly destroying the US alliance with the other G7 countries. Without the US on board, the new G6 will be greatly weakened, so it’s good we are leaving. At that meeting, the President also found a ready-made ally in the new Italian prime minister, Giuseppe Conte. Conte was the only leader to back President Trump and his proposal to readmit Russia into the G7. Conte has also taken a Trumpian stand on Middle Eastern refugees by closing Italy’s ports to them.

There are many other potential new NATO partners out there among the strongmen President Donald Trump so admires.

America looked the other way when Syrian President Hafez al-Assad’s forces, with the help of Russian troops, targeted Syrian civilians with rockets and poisonous gas. President Trump then picked up Assad as a partner and ally as well. He has consistently given President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines needed cover as he wages his war on drugs with non-judicial killings, and with many innocent civilian casualties in the process (following the Rumsfeldian axiom, “you can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs”). Trump is wisely backing Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia, (they have our oil after all) as he wages genocidal war with the Yemeni people. Finally, just this week, President Trump sagely gave Kim Jung-un of North Korea everything he asked for at their recent summit in Singapore, including international statesman status, despite (or perhaps because of) his human rights record, and a commitment to pulling US forces out of South Korea. With this big win for North Korea, Supreme Leader Kim will really owe us.

The old NATO will continue to exist in acronym only, and Pressident Trump's media savvy will ensure the new NATO will no longer refer to a treaty organization.

The new NATO (Nationalists Acting on Trump’s Orders) will be established, with Russia actually being in charge (because of the PP tape), but respecting the Trump brand’s international cachet. It will be comprised of these six aforementioned countries. If we can pick up three more countries with marginalized presidents-for-life, the new NATO will be stronger and more robust than ever. And three current NATO members seem ready to fit the bill: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is flexing his authoritarian and theocratic muscles in Turkey; Polish president Andrzej Sebastian Duda represents an ascendant far right wing in that country; and populist, anti-immigrant Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Mihály Orbán is well on his way to dismantling some of the so-called democratic reforms established after that country left the Soviet Bloc at the end of the Cold War. These new leaders “get”what this great and powerful president ours is trying to do—rule the world with no unnecessary checks or balances.

NATO will soon comprise America, Russia, Syria, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, the Philippines, Turkey, Poland, and Hungary. We will also work toward getting Israel on board as they seem to be going down a path similar to our new member states as they deal with their Palestinian problem. This reformed alliance will have its way on the world stage as its members will be led by men not beholden to phony democratic processes, but by the bold temerity of its leaders. And the new NATO will no longer be beholden to and hamstrung by such feet-dragging and dithering human rights conventions as those promulgated by weak-kneed bureaucrats in Geneva, and enforced by the World Police at the Hague.

  1. Senator, I agree this bold move towards a more paternal-oriented NATO built of strong minded and dim-witted leaders will usher in a properous new world order. With these focused leaders positioned to realign the world's military might behind its corporate foundation a new era of world resource plundering can begin!

I endorse this new pardigm and look forward to a world where I'm allowed to again throw my cigarette butts on the rode while I drive--a clear expression of freedom!
